🦣 Canon Ef 100 F2 Review
The lenses I tried are all primes: Canon 200mm f2. Sigma 105mm f1.4. Canon 35mm f1.4L II. Those are maybe the best primes you can buy for Canon EF system. What is interesting is that all three lenses are covering the 4x3 sensor, CA is very well controlled on all of them.
This lens is sharp, very sharp, sharp throughout the entire zoom and aperture range. The build quality is pro, focus and zoom are internal. This is probably my favorite lens right now. This lens holds up in quality to the 70-200L, and some believe it is a bit sharper across the board. It is a wonderful mid range zoom.
FALLOFF (Darkened Corners) back to Performance or back to Introduction. The 17-55mm is very good. There is some falloff at f/2.8 which goes away at f/4. These tests below are extremely devious and show even the slightest falloff. The level of falloff seen at f/4 below will be invisible in real photos.
